OK....so nothing got done today. Well, not entirely true but near enough. Need more boxes before I can do anything. Which it looks like I won't get until sometime tomorrow at the earliest. Gah, I hate moving.

It occurs to me that I should probably put a little something more about myself. I took a look at the profile section and there is not a whole lot of info there. So here's what amounts to me, and be warned some of it may be a little unsuitable to younger audiences:

Background: I was raised by my mother in Central New York mostly. She hated everything having to do with my father, who lived in Canada, so I grew up without knowing much about my roots. I'm 50% mi'kmaq (pronounced meegmaw but anglicized to micmac) on my father's side, which basically means I'm native american. Moved around a lot as a child before finally settling in New York state. Currently living in Canada but will be moving back to NY soon.

Religion: I was raised a christian but soon found that the faith just was not there. I studied other religions but never really settled on one for a long time. I guess most would consider me to be a pagan but I prefer to think of myself as a tribalist.

Entertainment: Ok.. to be honest, I'm just a big kid sometimes. I love cartoons & video games. And something which most people consider to be grouped in with cartoons is my love of anime (which as any anime fan will know, are not cartoons). I like my anime both dark and light-hearted. I enjoy reading, movies, playing pool, chatting and oddly enough, working.

Sex: Oddly enough I get a lot of flak from people about this topic. You see, I'm straight. But I am also comfortable with my sexuality, so I can appreciate a beautiful woman as well as a handsome guy. I'm a pretty open person about my feelings about everything, including sex, so a lot of people think I'm bi. While I don't discuss the details about my sex life with anyone, I will give advice to anyone that asks with genuine interest.

Men: I like dark men, preferably dark hair and dark eyes. Soccer players mostly. Don't know why but when I've looked back at all the guys I've dated most of them have played the sport at one time or another. And somehow, most of them have had first names that started with the letter 'J'. Weird, huh?

Sports: Football, nfl football I should say. Nothing else will do. My team favs are Denver, Pittsburgh and Dallas in that order. Players are Eddie Mccaffrey, Jerome Bettis, Kordell Stewert and Emmit Smith (btw...I cried when Eddie broke his leg in their first monday night game last season). Hockey, well...I wouldn't be a good little canadian if I didn't like it. I do enjoy watching it but find it not nearly as intensive an experience as watching football. In hockey I don't follow teams, I follow players. Fav is Patrick Roi.

Writing: Something which has always been the one constant in my life. I enjoy writing to the extent that I will often lose myself in it, forgetting everything around me. The house could literally be on fire and I wouldn't notice. A lot of my stuff has been autobiographical up to a few years ago. But I find I also enjoy writing fantasy and horror. My most current project, which is on the back burner at the moment, is a fantasy novel.

Well...I guess that about sums things up. I'm off now to try to get some work done.
